In 2003 Illumination was formed with the specific purpose of adding a new dimension to health benefit consulting services. The elements we provide include extensive data mining and risk analysis focused on improving already purchased programs and enhancing their value to our clients. We are not in business to sell product, but to provide expertise in product development, management, and sound advice. We specialize in health and wellness initiatives including predictive modeling, medical management programs, and total health management solutions.

Illumination Medical is a privately held California Corporation located in Sacramento. The company was founded in 2003 and is owned by Lilli DuVal, President and CEO.

Lilli founded Illumination Medical in 2003 following a 25 year career in employee benefits management. She has served as Vice President of Operations and Vice President of Strategic Develop for two pharmacy benefit management firms and began her career within the benefits brokerage markets. During her career, she witnessed a need to look at employee benefits in a new light, focused on the actual medical risk of a clients’ population. Over the past five years under her leadership, numerous new programs have been developed for clients. Some of these programs include: Proactive member outreach and advocacy modules, pharmacy management programs utilizing one on one consultation with at risk members; design and implementation of total health management programs, expanded case management programs, and focused evidence based benefit designs.
